We're not a big fan of rules but as the forum grows we feel it's time to set some ground rules for us to follow. They are all common sense but some people need to have rules that are spelled out clearly.

The Pens Forum management :

TheToro : TheToro is an Administrator at The Pens Forum and the Owner.
Kipper : Kipper is an Administrator along with maintaining the forum and being the Tech guy
IRONCITYPETE : ICP is a Global Moderator.
OldSchool : OldSchool is a Global Moderator
winman : Winman is a Global Moderator.

Each of the above members of Management volunteer their time and efforts to this forum with zero compensation. The end.

If you want to call TheToro, OldSchool, IRONCITYPETE, Kipper or winman (or any other member) a cocksucking, pig fucking, dickless bag of shit...Go ahead.

Keep in mind that this is a "Discussion" Forum. We accept and have no problem with differing views and options and openly invite them. You could hate Ryan Whitney and Jordan Staal, believe Mike Yeo rides the short bus or whatever else and while we might not agree with that opinion, you have every right to express it. What we will not tolerate are people coming onto The Pens Forum with a purpose to instigate a reaction based on their views. There are various ways to have a good open discussion about something and if we feel a particular Member is causing an issue on the Board with their discussion style and intent, we will ask for this to cease. Please don't cause problems and if your intent is to register with an intent on doing so, kindly reconsider doing so.

Now to the rules *spit*.

1.If A Global Mod Or Admin Tells You Something In Regards To Conduct On The Forum It Must Be Taken Seriously. If you are confused about whether the Global Moderator or Admin is being serious, Send them a PM and ask them via PM rather than out on the Forum to avoid any back and forth conflicts that clutter up the Forum. This sort of "clutter" would be subjected to deletion or being moved. Actions of Global Moderators and Admins are not to be discussed anywhere on the Forum. Failure to do this will result in posts being DELETED without warning with consequences resulting in either a Warning or Banning. NO arguing your case on the board. Your post will be subject for removal without warning. Failure to act on what a Global Moderator and/or Admin tells you is subject to a Warning and Banning. One's personal preference of a Global Mod(s) and/or Admin(s) has no weight on any members decision to not adhere to rules. All Global Moderators and Admins are to be treated with the same equal regards.

2. The Penguins Board Is Used To Discuss Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey. It's not a place to discuss if you would tap some woman or excessive posts joking around about someone's ole lady or other excessive joking etc... It's a place to discuss Pittsburgh Penguins content. All other posts are subject to being moved to a more appropriate board on the forum. Global Moderators and Admins have the right and choice to keep or move and/or delete these posts.

3. Do Not Bring Racial Subjects Into The Forum. While one's intent might not be racist, the subject of race is too subjective from person to person. Eliminating any issues that could permeate from race subjects is a priority of ours. Any post regarding race as deemed by the Global Moderators and Admins are subject to be deleted and a warning will be issued. Failure to adhere to this rule further will result in an Instant Banning without warning.
3b. Do Not Discuss Politics And Religion. We are aware that people have their personal preferences on such matters, however it is our experience that discussion on these subjects often end in hostility and takes away from the atmosphere and environment we are trying to maintain at this Forum. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a warning. Any further action will result in a Banning. Political and Religious topics and posts are subject to being deleted without any warning or explanation.

4. Spamming Or Releasing A Member Of This Forum's Personal Information Will Result In An Instant Permanent Ban. No questions asked.
4b. Spamming Threads About The Same Topic Will Result In A Warning. Anything after will result in a Ban. If you have any questions, PM a Global Moderator and/or Admin. Complaints on the Forum are subject for removal and a Warning/Ban at our own discretion. Future instances will result in a Banning.

5. Creating Multiple Aliases will result in an Instant Permanent Ban. It's annoying and gay.

6. Threatening another Member in the Forum or Via PM's will result in an Instant Permanent Ban. No warning will be issued and no questions asked.
6b. Trolling. Any person that registers and posts to purposely instigate others into a flame war and/or hi-jacks threads to do so will receive an Instant Permanent Ban. No questions asked. The Pens Forum Management however maintains the decision to allow any Troll to stay for as long as They decide. This decision could end at any point without warning.

7. No Personal Attacks. Joking around with each is always acceptable but attacking someone will result in a Warning. After that warning, any further instance is subject to that member being banned. Due to this being a subjective matter, decisions made based on this rule are at the discretion of the Global Moderators and Admins. Global Moderators and Admins have the choice to allow such content to pass at their prudence.

8. Unfortunately No Porn. Nipples, vagina's, penises. All count as nudity and will be deleted if seen. This is a rule of our Server Host not a personal preference of ours however content like this always makes it difficult for people viewing the Forum at work and/or with children running around at home.

9. No Selling Of Merchandise At The Pens Forum. This isn't Ebay. If you have a friend or a family member that is selling something and you think it would be a good offer for the rest of the board, send a PM to one of the Admins or Global Mods to get their approval. Everything else is subject to being Deleted and multiple infractions of this is cause for instant Banning

10. Don't Be A Dickbag To First Time Posters. If you feel the need to insult someone's first post on this board keep it to yourself. We're sure they don't appreciate taking the time to join this board and sharing their opinions/ideas only to be shit on.
